Ear stretching piercing aftercare

  • The healing can take up to 4-8 weeks. Please keep the following advices during the entire recovery time:
  • Don't go to sauna, swimming pool or tanning studio for at least two weeks.
  • Don't soak your piercing during washing your hair and having a shower.
  • Don't remove your piercing until the end of the healing time.
  • Never rotate or move the new tunnel/taper piercing.
  • Avoid using alcoholic cleaning products.
  • See a qualified piercer to check if you can swap to a larger size.
  • Keep your new piercing away from shampoo, lotions and shower gel.
  • Twice a day apply special Ear care gel or Tetran cream around the piercing.
  • Use these products during the entire healing time.
  • Missing the aftercare can extend the healing time
  • In case of any injuries of a healed piercing, resume the aftercare procedure

    Ear stretching

    • Expansion is a long process when a basic sized earlobe hole gets larger and larger. Usually the safest way is to stretch up 1-2 mm after 2-3 weeks healing time.
