DESCRIPTION
This new generation of body jewelry appeared a few years ago, it goes by several names: dermal anchor, surface anchor, and dermal piercing. This piece of jewelry has an inlet opening, and a base, which holds the jewelry in place under the skin. The “head” sits on the surface of the skin. We are able to change the top of the jewelry painlessly, without moving the base under the skin.
The special feature of the jewelry is that it can be placed almost anywhere on the body, where the skin is thick enough, and the base can be supported by a bone underneath. It can also be placed in groups (2-4 pieces) on a specific part of the body, and can also be inserted into tattoos.
In our salon, micro dermal is always inserted with the single-use leather punch produced exclusively for this purpose. We only use titanium piercing!
CARE
- The Dermal Anchor piercing healing time will be around 6-8 weeks.
- During this time, please follow these instructions!
- We can’t guarantee the recovery for this piercing!
- Don’t go to a swimming pool, sauna, or a solarium for 3 weeks, avoid intense exercise and take showers only.
- For piercings that are located on the fingers, you shouldn’t wash dishes or wear rubber gloves for 2 weeks.
- It is very important, that for the full healing time, you shouldn’t change, move, or take out the piercing.
- 2 hours after piercing the piercing you must take the bandage off, and you shouldn’t plaster it anymore.
- Don’t use any alcoholic or alcohol-based products on it. You should use an anti-inflammatory product on it twice a day (this could be Medisept gel or Octenisept spray.)
- Fou should foment it for 15 minutes with camomille tea, every day for the first week!
- After healing, the top of the piercing can be changed.
- For the full healing time, you shouldn’t sleep on the piercing.
- If you pull or get caught in your piercing, and it gets infected after it fully healed, you should start treating it again, the same way.

BELOW THE AGES OF 18
- Below the age of 14, we only do earrings, with ear-piercing guns. Between the ages of 14-16, we do piercing with parental supervision, exceptions are extreme piercings, microdermals, genital piercings, and nipple piercings.
