DESCRIPTION

An Industrial piercing consists of two connected cartilage piercings, usually joined by a long, straight barbell. A classic Industrial is placed in the upper part of the ear: one end of the bar passes through the upper front cartilage ridge, while the other passes through the upper outer cartilage rim, creating a diagonal line across the top of the ear.
An Industrial piercing is a bold, striking choice that can be a defining feature of an ear jewellery arrangement on its own. Precise placement and alignment of the two piercings are especially important, as the same piece of jewellery must pass comfortably through both piercing channels once healed.
Not every ear is suitable for an Industrial piercing, so our piercers carefully assess your ear anatomy before the procedure. If your ear shape is suitable, they will determine the ideal placement and angle, and select the appropriate premium titanium starter jewellery.

CARE

The healing time for an Industrial piercing is at least 2-4 months.

For a smooth healing process, please follow these guidelines:

Do not go swimming, use a sauna, or visit a tanning salon for the first two weeks after getting pierced.
Until fully healed, do not remove, change, or rotate the jewellery, and do not treat the piercing with alcohol-based products.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before caring for a fresh piercing.
Use an alcohol-free disinfectant and an anti-inflammatory aftercare product twice daily.
Every 2–3 days, apply a sterile 0.9% saline compress for approximately 10 minutes. This supports healing and helps remove dried blood and discharge. If necessary, use a sterile cotton swab or sterile gauze.
Do not sleep on the jewellery until the piercing has fully healed. Make sure that nothing puts pressure on or irritates it, such as a hat or headphones. Keep any objects that regularly come into contact with the piercing clean as well.
If a healed piercing later becomes inflamed, consult a professional to discuss the appropriate treatment and whether a jewellery change may be necessary. Do not postpone this for several days—prompt care makes the issue easier to treat.

BELOW THE AGES OF 18

Piercing under the age of 18 It is also possible to get a piercing at our salon under the age of 18; however, depending on your age and the type of piercing you choose, parental presence or written parental consent is required.

The rules below make it easy to find out what applies to you.

Which piercings do we not perform under the age of 18? We only perform the following for those over the age of 18:

Intimate piercings,
Snake Eyes piercings,
Horizontal Tongue piercings,
Transverse Lobe piercings,
Microdermal piercings placed on the face,
Surface piercings placed on the face.

Between the ages of 16 and 18

To get a piercing, a completed parental consent form is required; the parent’s personal presence is generally not mandatory.

However, for Microdermal and Surface piercings placed on the body, the parent’s personal presence is also required in addition to the completed consent form.

Between the ages of 14 and 16

We perform piercings only in the presence of a parent.

At this age, we do not perform Microdermal, Extreme, Surface, or Nipple piercings.

Under the age of 14

Under the age of 14, we only offer ear piercing with a piercing gun.

At this age, it is not possible to get a piercing at our salon.
